SUBJECT: Beautification Advisory Board Appointment - One (1) Member
1.BACKGROUND/HISTORY
    
 

Issue Statement:  Board member Douglas Weisz's term expires at the end of January 2017. Mr. Weisz has been contacted and desires to serve another three-year term. Attendance records indicate Mr. Weisz has missed 4 meetings in the past twelve months.

 

Solution Statement:  City Commission appoint one (1) member to the Beautification Advisory Board for a (3) three-year term. 

Sec. 24-235 establishes the Beautification Advisory Board consists of seven (7) members who each serve a term of three (3) years.  The Beautification Advisory Board meets the third Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m.  Board Members are appointed by City Commission consensus.
