SUBJECT: Oktoberfest Presentation
1.BACKGROUND/HISTORY
    
 

Come out and enjoy live German music, authentic German-style beer and food in the Biergarten, carnival rides, kid's activities, and field games at the Beschäftigungsfeld.  Games include stein races, beer barrel races and much more. This event will be held, rain or shine. 

 

Dates & Times:

  • Friday, October 6th, 6-10 PM  (7 PM Opening Ceremonies)
  • Saturday, October 7th, 1-10 PM
  • Sunday, October 8th, 1-7 PM

 

Admission

  • $5 Entry Fee
  • 12 years of age & under are free

 

Location:

  • Jaco Pastorius Park - 4000 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, FL
  • Entrance by fountain at the south end of park

 

Event Guidelines:

• No weapons, knives, firearms, or explosives are allowed

• No outside food or drinks allowed

• Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult

• Wristbands must be worn at all times

• Entry fee and food/drink tickets are non-refundable

• Video surveillance cameras and photographers are present

• You agree to be photographed, videotaped and/or recorded for any and all future use by the City of Oakland Park

 

What makes the Oakland Park Oktoberfest unique? Central Bark's Dachshund Dash! Registration closes a week prior to the event. The Dachshund Dash will take place on Saturday.
