SUBJECT: Presentation of Potential Partnership for rebuilding a new Fire Station 20 in furtherance of the Bond Goals
1.BACKGROUND/HISTORY
    
 

In November 2018, the residents overwhelmingly approved the Facilities General Obligation Bond.  The Bond Implementation Goal's  include:

 

  • Maintaining Continuity of City Services
  • Maximize Value & Utilize Resources Judiciously
  • Optimize Opportunities
  • Consistent with Strategic Vision and Image of the City

 

Fire Station 20 is currently located at 4721 Powerline Road.  The parcel is undersized for use as the site for a modern fire station.  The presentation will discuss a potential partnership for rebuilding a new Fire Station 20 in furtherance of the Bond Goals that would allow for relocation of Fire Station 20 to a more favorable location.
