Issue Statement: There are currently two (2) vacant positions on the Beautification Advisory Board. Board member Dawn Bossaller whose term ends April 2022 relocated out of the City and Board Member Gerald Walter  declined to serve after his appointment  on June 2, 2021.   

There are (3) three applications attached for Commission consideration to appoint (2) two board members to complete the terms of Bossaller (April 2022) and Walter (June 2024).  

Recommended Action: City Commission to appoint, by consensus, two (2)  members to the Beautification Advisory Board for a term ending April 2022 and June 2024. 

Sec. 24-235. Beautification advisory board
(B)   Composition; compensation. The board established in this section shall be composed of seven (7) members appointed by the city commission. Any compensation shall be established by city commission resolution. All members of the board shall be residents of the city. No member of the board may be an employee of the city, nor may any elected official of the city be a member of the board.
