SUBJECT: Code Lien Settlement for 801 E. Oakland Park Boulevard
1.BACKGROUND/HISTORY
    
 

Issue Statement: The owner of the commercial property located at 801 E Oakland Park Boulevard, is requesting settlement of outstanding code enforcement lien and fine of $37,875.00.

 

Recommended Solution: The City Commission approve the proposed settlement offer of $11,363 plus $750 in recording and processing fees and $675 in hard costs for Code Enforcement Lien Code Case #’s 184849, 191905 with Simon Abeckaser, owner of  801 E Oakland Park Boulevard, a commercial property.

2.CURRENT ACTIVITY
    
 

The offer is $11,363 plus $750 in recording and processing fees and $675 in hard costs will be collected to offset city expenses incurred on property. The total settlement offer is to be paid within sixty (60) days of the City Commission’s approval. Failure to pay within the sixty (60) days would void the settlement.

4.RECOMMENDATION
