SUBJECT: Purchase and Sale Agreement for the Acquisition of the Downtown Properties by Horizon of Oakland Park, LLC in the Amount of $11,206,508.
1.BACKGROUND/HISTORY
    
 See Agenda Item 1 for background and history.
2.CURRENT ACTIVITY
    
 The Development Agreement will be brought to Commission at the second reading of this ordinance and will contain the essential terms and conditions as outlined in the staff presentation to Commission.   

 

The Site Plans:  The Purchase and Sale Agreement and the Development Agreement contemplate the potential scenarios for the development of the project with or without the acquisition of the private parcels (A and B) and future timing of the Train Station. Agenda Item 1 provides the components for the Primary Site Plan and Alternative Site Plan A-1: without Parcel A. 

This is a revision to one of the Alternative Site Plans.  The revision to Alternative Site Plan A-2 will increase the total retail/commercial component from 5,300 SF to 11,000 SF, will remove the 6 live work units and in turn will increase the residential units from 36 residential units to  42 residential units.
