Issue Statement: Staff recommends the following City Commission meeting schedule for 2019.

Recommended Action: Adopt by resolution the proposed 2019 meeting schedule, which incorporates the regular City Commission meetings and regulatory requirements of the FY 20 Budget calendar.

This is a preliminary schedule. As such, some of the deliverables may change as updated information becomes available.

• Budget Hearings:  Florida Statute 200.065(2)(e)2 requires "hearing dates scheduled by the County Commission and School Board shall not be utilized by any other Taxing Authority within the County for its public hearings."  The City of Oakland Park’s budget hearing dates may need to be adjusted should they conflict with the County Commission and or School Board budget hearing dates.
