Case #CD23-14RZ “Carter G. Woodson Park”

A public hearing to consider the City of Oakland Park’s proposed rezoning of a property consisting of 0.74 acres of R-1, Single Family Residential District and 0.67 acres of OS, Open Space District to 1.41 acres of OS, Open Space District to allow improvements to be constructed at Carter G. Woodson Park, located at 3490 NE 3 Avenue.

4.Case #CD23-16A “Vacation of Public Way – Horizon Oakland Park Alley”
A public hearing to consider the City of Oakland Park’s application for the vacation of a public way for the south half of the alley located east of Northeast 12 Avenue at Northeast 37 Street in relation to the redevelopment of the downtown City-owned property for the project known as the Horizon Oakland Park.

Case #CD23-15T “Prohibition of Medical Marijuana Text Amendment”
A public hearing before the Oakland Park Planning and Zoning Board to consider a proposed Ordinance to amend the City’s Land Development Code, Chapter 24, Article III, District Regulations, by specifically amending Section 24-41, entitled “Master Business List” and Section 24-266 entitled “Downtown Development District (OP3D) Use List” to prohibit the use “Medical marijuana treatment center or dispensing facility.”

Case #CD23-18T “Finished Floor Elevation - Manufactured Homes Land Development Code Text Amendment”

A public hearing before the Oakland Park Planning Zoning Board to consider a proposed Ordinance to amend the City’s Land Development Code, Chapter 24, Article X, Floodplain Management, by specifically amending Section 24-139.4, entitled “Flood Resistant Development—Manufactured Housing” to specify required elevation of manufactured homes in special flood hazard areas.

Case #CD23-04CU “Penny’s Tiny Pet Shop”

A public hearing to consider an application by Dana Rosenberg (tenant), and Robert H. Rankin (property owner) requesting Conditional Use approval for a pet shop, for the subject property located at 491 East Commercial Boulevard, Suite 521, Oakland Park, Florida, 33334, identified with parcel identification number 494215060220.
